Over the course of our ReNeighbouring series, we’ve been challenged to do this simple yet spectacular thing: love our neighbours. We’ve talked about the importance of loving our neighbours, who our neighbours are, and how we can be great neighbours practically. My hope is that this series has challenged you to take another step towards following Jesus in loving your neighbours.
One of the best ways we can encourage one another to love our neighbours is to share some personal neighbouring stories. These stories can come from anywhere—work, church, home, community, commute, gym, library, and everywhere in-between. And these stories don’t have to be impressive or life-changing. They can be simple acts of kindness that you were privileged to share with others, or a time someone was neighbourly towards you! How did someone’s act of neighbourly kindness impact you? We want to hear it! Perhaps the reason why you are connected at Richview today is because someone went out of their way to be loving towards you.
I’d love to be able to share some of these stories with the church on November 21, which will be our last Sunday in the series. Click here to share!
Have a great week!
