Let me give you a couple quick updates here at Richview.
Executive Administrator Search
We are still looking for God’s direction for an Executive Administrator. The elders are standing as the search team for the position, and we have been receiving resumes over the past month. On Tuesday Sept 24, the elders narrowed down the possible candidates to a short list and we are presently in the process of scheduling interviews with these candidates. Please pray for us and the potential candidates!
Facility Renewal
Work is always ongoing behind the scenes on the Facility Renewal plans. The deacons, elders, staff, and architects are meeting next week to discuss the latest draft and to get on the same page. While I want to assure you that progress is being made, we are not ready yet to reveal any plans or numbers beyond the leadership teams. We are still discussing and re-shaping the picture of our facility and the scope of the changes we want to make. When the leadership is united and ready, we will be excited to share the plan with you! Of course, this project as a whole is subject to membership approval, so you will have ample opportunity to view the plans, digest them, and give feedback before we go forward with any changes. Please pray for unity at our church, for great ideas, and for a facility that will help us in our mission to joyfully lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.
